Terms of service

1. Who we are

This shop is run by Honeycraft LTD ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17034988. Our registered office is 45 Albemarle Street, 3rd Floor, London W1S 4JL. Email: hello@honeycraft.co.uk. We are not VAT-registered.

These terms apply when you buy from www.honeycraft.co.uk as a consumer. If you're buying for a business, ask us for our trade terms.

2. How to order

Add jars to your basket and go to checkout. Enter your delivery and payment details, then check the order summary. You can change quantities or details before you press Pay now. Our terms and the order process are in English. We keep a record of your order; email us if you need a copy.

3. When the contract forms

When you place an order, we email to say we've received it. That email does not accept your order. We accept your order, and the contract between us starts, when we email to tell you it has been dispatched.

We take payment when you place your order. If we can't accept it, we'll tell you and refund everything you paid in full. That could be because an item is out of stock, there's an obvious pricing error or we can't deliver to your address.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling. We are not VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. We accept cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Bundle prices and the founder price are applied automatically at checkout. Any discount code has its own conditions, shown with the code.

If a price is obviously wrong, we'll contact you before dispatch. You can then go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. The founder price

The founder price covers the first 500 jars of the founder batch. It ends when those jars have sold.

6. The honey

Our honey is raw and nothing is added. Colour, texture and crystallisation vary from batch to batch. This is natural and not a fault. To make crystallised honey liquid again, stand the jar in warm water. Our honey is lab-tested by Bingöl University; the report is linked from our lab report page and from the QR code on the jar. Not suitable for infants under 12 months. Product photos are for illustration.

7. Delivery, risk and ownership

We deliver within the UK only, within the times in our Shipping policy, and in any case within 30 days of the contract unless we agree otherwise. The jars are your responsibility once they're delivered to you or someone you name. They're yours once we've received full payment.

8. Your rights

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If the honey is faulty or not as described, you're entitled to a remedy. Our Refund policy explains what we do and your 14-day right to cancel. It forms part of these terms, and so does our Shipping policy. For free independent advice, contact Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk, 0808 223 1133).

9. Our responsibility to you

If we break these terms or are negligent, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result. We're not responsible for loss or damage that wasn't foreseeable. We don't exclude or limit our liability where the law doesn't allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. We sell for domestic and private use; we're not responsible for business losses.

10. Using this website

The text, images and the Honeycraft name and branding belong to us or our suppliers. Please don't copy them for commercial use without our permission, or interfere with how the site works.

11. Complaints

Email hello@honeycraft.co.uk. We reply within one working day, and one of the three of us will try to put it right.

12. General

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or in your local courts if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland.
