Before you ask
Questions, answered straight.
Is it actually raw?
Yes. It leaves the hive and goes straight into the jar. Never heated, never pasteurised. Every batch is independently tested under Bingöl University's protocol. Scan the QR code on the label, or read the full lab report in English here. You'll see the actual numbers for the batch, not a generic certificate.
Why is it priced lower than some premium honeys?
Our price reflects the harvest and the origin, nothing else. Bingöl honey has been produced since 1970, holds Turkey's only Geographical Indication, is independently lab-tested, and has won Gold in London and Paris. We don't spend millions on advertising, so you pay for the jar, not the billboard.
What does "single origin" mean here?
It means Bingöl, Eastern Turkey. One region, one harvest, no blending. Bingöl honey's origin is legally protected and verified. What the bees made in those highlands is exactly what ends up in your jar.
Will it crystallise?
It might, and that's a good sign. Raw, unfiltered honey crystallises because the pollen and natural sugars are still in it, exactly as they should be. Warm the jar gently in water to loosen. The flavour, dark amber, sharp and floral with notes of wild thyme and blackthorn, doesn't change.
How should I store it?
Room temperature, lid on, out of direct sunlight. No fridge needed. Raw honey keeps for years. Not suitable for infants under 12 months.
Do you supply restaurants and hotels?
Yes. We supply 1kg catering tubes for kitchens and 20g mini pots (in cases of 100) for hotels and breakfast service. Head to the Wholesale page and send us a request. We reply within one working day.
